In this video, I demonstrate how I use a storyboarding process to create a blueprint, complete with a page-level script, before even logging into the LMS to build a course -- and show how that map translates into reality once you get to the building stage of an online course development project. |

Writng a Data Analysis Chapter
Inspired by questions for participants in a graduate-level applied research project course, in this video Rob presents some tips on how to get started with writing the results, or data analysis chapter of a research report. These same strategies apply for writing the results, or data analysis section of a shorter (non-chaptered) research paper. |

Data Analysis vs Discussions (Chapter 4 vs Chapter 5)
In this video, Rob discusses the basic structure of a final research report, with particular attention to the differences between what to include in Chapter 4: Data Analysis versus Chapter 5: Discussions. Note that in this video, Rob refers to "chapters" for the different sections. The same structure applies for any research paper -- whether it be for a major course paper, a thesis or dissertation, or a paper or chapter for submission to an academic journal or book. |

APA Formatting Tips - Page Numbers
In this video, Rob demonstrates how to add properly formatted APA version 7 page numbers to the page header of a paper using Microsoft Word, how to remove a page number from your cover page by using Section Breaks, and how to use Section Breaks to use different page number formats for different sections of a paper. |

Formatting Reports for APA and Accessibility
In this video, Rob walks through tips and tricks for "fixing" some of the common document formatting issues students often make when submitting APA format research papers and reports. This video focuses on properly formatting an APA v7 title page, using different page numbering styles for different sections of a document (front matter and main body), inserting an automated table of contents, and properly spacing and aligning References lists. |
